Join Coast Care in an introduction to Hedgerow Surveying, supporting People’s Trust for Endangered Species “Great British Hedegrow Survey”.

We’ll be training interested volunteers through a series of introductory sessions in how to ID hedgerow tree and shrub species, what to look for, recording techniques, how to report records and identify locations to survey. You can find out more about the survey in advance at https://hedgerowsurvey.ptes.org/ and we will be going over the information and guidelines throughout the sessions, with volunteers able to confidently survey hedgerows when they come into leaf in the spring.

Please contact the team on info@coast-care.co.uk to book your place.

Facilities and parking is available on site at Seahouses Hub. Please bring lunch and refreshments will be provided.

First Aid cover, equipment and training will be supplied by Coast Care staff. Wear footwear and suitable clothing for walking outdoors in all weathers on muddy paths.
