We are delighted to be joined by John Hobrough, Professor of international Education, with a PhD freshwater ecology, that studied in the Cheviots. John is also former head of environmental science at Northumberland College - Ponteland.

The walk from Howick to Craster enables us to see and understand the geological structure of northumberland as it is exposed at the coast. We can discuss the ecological factors which relate to the various habitats, the interrelationship between flora and fauna and how the use of the coastal strip effects nature and use of land.

Meet at the parking bays in Howick, near Seahouses Farm NE66 3LH (BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL)
