Join Coast Care staff to improve upon your experience and knowledge in plant identification and surveying at Bamburgh Dunes. A great opportunity to identify a range of plant species across this dune habitat, where Coast Care have been assisting the Bamburgh estate to remove invasive species and improve the natural flora of this beautiful site.

Suitable for beginners and novices as well as more experienced plant identifiers.

Survey equipment and plant ID guides provided for the day. Further guided days will be led at other sites to provide more experience and encourage confidence in ID to support independent surveying in the future.

Wear suitable footwear and clothing for being outdoors in all weathers and bring lunch. There are no toilets on site but there are public toilets a short walk to the village.

Please park at Bamburgh Castle car park and let the parking attendant know you are a Coast Care volunteer.
