Come along and help Coast Care clear back the vegetation and give the area a spring clean to expose the WW2 Gun Emplacement.  This clearance activity will allow visitors to the area access the emplacement and appreciate the heritage of this site. 

All equipment and training will be provided. Please wear stout footwear and suitable clothing for working outdoors in all weather conditions. There are no toilet facilities at this site and we recommend you bring along your lunch and refreshments.

To book to attend please contact info@coast-care.co.uk  and to assist us to organise car sharing from the Coast Care Volunteer Centre, Seahouses and car parking at the site.

Location

Newton Gun Emplacement is situated near the B1342 between Budle Bay and Bamburgh.  There is no car parking on the site and it is a short walk from the main road.
